CAMAS, Wash. - Angela K. Gallagher, 49, of Camas, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She was born March 31, 1965, in Columbus, Ga., daughter of Gary and Karen Charpentier. She graduated from Hall-Dale High School in Farmingdale, Maine, and attended the University of Maine at Machias on a basketball scholarship. She married Jeff Gallagher and pursued a career in accounting. After the birth of her sons she enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom. She was a great sports enthusiast and loved being baseball mom.
Angela was predeceased by her mom, Karen Charpentier, and her father-in-law, Lawrence Gallagher. Survivors include her husband, Jefferey Gallagher, of Camas; two sons, Zachory B. Gallagher, of Vancouver, Wash., and Chase A. Gallagher, of Camas; father Gary Charpentier, of Camas; two brothers, Ronald (Victoria) Charpentier, of Texas, and Michael (Chris), of Colorado; mother-in-law Marcella (Al) Dowling, of Chelsea; sister-in-law Tammy (Don) Symes, of Farmingdale; four brothers-in-law, Randy (April) Gallagher, of Wayne, Maine, Peter Gallagher, of Randloph, Maine, and Michael (Crystal) Gallagher, of Litchfield, Maine; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A service was held at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Ore., on June 12, 2014.
