CHELSEA -- Mark V. Elliott, 59, of Chelsea, died Sunday, March 24, 2013, at Maine Medical Center, Portland, from complications of a heart attack. He was born Nov. 9, 1953, in Beverly, Mass.
Mark leaves behind his loving family of Diane Richard and their sons Timmy Elliott, 16, Ricky Elliott, 9, and Rex Elliott, 9, of Chelsea.
Mark was a self-employed auto body technician. He also loved collecting his junk and scrap metals. He spent any spare time playing with his kids and teaching them the survival skills of his trade. Mark was so very proud of his son Timmy and supporting his social life.
Mark was extremely supportive and so very proud of Timmy's choices in the performing arts and seeing him on stage. As his dad, he was also so proud of Timmy's gifts in music and writing.
Mark also spent countless hours talking and laughing late at night on the telephone with his eldest son, Steve Elliott, of Massachusetts.
Mark is also survived by children Tarra Elliott, Jesse Elliott, Nickole Elliott and her daughter, Lilly, all of Massachusetts.
There will be a time to greet the family from noon to 1 p.m., followed by a celebration of Mark's life and reception on Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 209 Eastern Ave., (Route 17), Augusta. All are welcome to come celebrate during any of these times.
