AUGUSTA -- Mark T. Yeaton, 46, of Baldwin Street, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013 at MaineGeneral Medical Center, Augusta.
He was born in Augusta on May 18, 1966, the son of Gerald and Barbara (Hinckley) Yeaton.
Mark graduated from Gardiner High School in 1984. He had worked as an IT tech for Cobbossee Computers, Capitol Computers and Central Maine Power. He was currently employed at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta.
Mark was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and snowmobiling.
He was predeceased by his father, Gerald Yeaton, on Nov. 25, 2009.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Melissa Yeaton of Augusta; two sons Todd R. Yeaton and Patrick M. Yeaton, both of Augusta; a daughter, Kristin J. Yeaton of Augusta; his mother Barbara Yeaton and her companion Ernest Levasseur of Farmingdale; a brother, Scott Yeaton, and his wife Dee of West Gardiner; and a sister Tammy Dupont, also of West Gardiner; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles; and two close friends, Jack Adams, of Chugiak, Alaska, and Josh Ellis, of Augusta.
Visiting will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, at Knowlton and Hewins Funeral Home, 1 Church St., Augusta, where a celebration of Mark's life will be at 2 p.m. Saturday.
