BRUNSWICK -- David E. Lamontagne, 45, a resident of Richmond, died Saturday, July 6, as a result of a motorcycle accident in Brunswick.
He was born May 22, 1968, in Lewiston, the son of Edward Lamontagne Jr. and Virginia (Tenney) Lamontagne. David was a 1986 graduate of Monmouth Academy. He worked as an industrial painter for Senior Flexonics in Lewiston.
He is survived by his companion of 25 years, Amanda Ward; his sons, David Lamontagne Jr. and his fiancée, Hannah Nilson, and Maverick Lamontagne and Payton Lamontagne, all of Richmond; granddaughter Mercy Whisen and an expected second granddaughter in November; parents Edward Jr. and Virginia Lamontagne, of Monmouth; brother Daniel Lamontagne of Monmouth; his sister, Donna Lamontagne, and companion Scott McAllister, of Monmouth; nieces and nephews Ashley, Kayla, Tyler, Josh, Dillan and Brooke; great-nephews Zachary and Braedyn; and great-nieces Victoria and Jade. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Delfred and Louise Tenney; and paternal grandparents Edward and Yvonne Lamontagne. Messages of condolence may be sent to www.finleyfuneralhome.com.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, July 11 at Bragdon-Finley Funeral Home, 707 Main St., Monmouth, Maine. Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, at the funeral home.
